🇹🇷 TürkiyeUpdated Official List Details Violations Across Several Locations in Türkiye

Istanbul's Atatürk Airport, one of the most significant investments in Turkish republican history, is now leasing commercial spaces built on its billion-dollar runways through public auction. The airport was closed to civilian flights in 2019, and its runways, which once saw a plane land or take off every 59 seconds, were broken up. Part of the airport has been converted into the Millet Bahçesi (Nation's Garden).
Emlak Yönetim, the property management authority, has prepared a promotional video for the leasing process. The video states that 69 workplaces in the Güney Külliye (Southern Complex) have been leased. Footage from the Millet Bahçesi shows shops in the Kuzey Külliye (Northern Complex), with the message: "A life that will carry you beyond the era begins.
Exclusive workplace leasing opportunities await you. According to the listings, a 62-square-meter food and beverage area is being leased for 165,000 Turkish liras, while a 560-square-meter Anadolu Han-Restaurant space is listed at 720,000 liras. A mobile kiosk occupying just 6 square meters is priced at 59,000 liras.
The list also includes exhibition areas and hangars. Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek had previously discussed incentives for attracting companies to Turkey on a television program, saying, "If you invest in financial assets in Turkey, there is a serious opportunity. Citing the airport and the Istanbul Finance Center as examples, Şimşek added, If you move your service center to Turkey, we zero out the corporate tax.
