Four injured in crash on State Highway 1 north of Wellington

Fire and Emergency said firefighters used cutting gear to help remove one person from the vehicle. A police spokesperson said one person suffered moderate to serious injuries while up to three other people suffered moderate injuries. Waka Kotahi said the southbound ramp reopened at about 6.30am. Emergency services remained at the scene and motorists were advised to take extra care in the area.
