Negotiations on the entire Bill on Amendments to Certain Laws and Decree Laws, including the regulation to increase the minimum pension, have been completed. There will be an increase of 17.76 percent for the lowest pension. The new minimum pension will be 23 thousand 552 lira.

The 34-article bill prepared by the AK Party started to be discussed in the General Assembly of the Parliament. Negotiations on the overall proposal have been completed. According to the proposal, the authority to determine strategy, policy and make regulations regarding internet domain names will be given to the Cyber ​​Security Directorate.

The Presidency may impose administrative fines ranging from 20 thousand liras to 100 thousand liras per violation to websites that do not fulfill their obligations. The cinema and tourism sector will also be supported by the regulation. Until the end of the year, tourism facilities will be given a monthly premium support of 3,500 liras per staff.

A 2 percent share from the annual net sales of media service providers and internet platforms will be transferred to cinema supports. Thus, digital platform revenues will be used in the production of new cinema content; A balanced and sustainable contribution mechanism will be implemented for the cinema industry. The proposal also foresees heavy penalties for international schools enrolling Turkish students in violation of the legislation. Those in this situation may be subject to an administrative fine of twenty times the gross minimum wage and direct license cancellation.
