"We expect the release decisions of our other volunteers who are detained and under house arrest to be made as soon as possible, and we continue to monitor the process and continue our work, it was said.

Of the 129 people referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest, 103 were arrested and a judicial control order was issued for 26 of them.

Six people were released. According to the information given by TEMA Foundation to BBC Turkish, the foundation's Ankara Provincial Representative and some volunteers were among those arrested. In its statement on June 26, the foundation described the arrests as sad and worrying.

According to the official minutes seen by BBC Turkish, KaosGL editor-in-chief Yıldız Tar is also among the detainees. TEMA said that as of the night of June 25, an arrest warrant was issued for 14 people, including the foundation's Ankara Provincial Representative, representation employees and some volunteers, "based on the possibility of taking action". In his statement on June 26, he stated that judicial control and measures not to leave the house were imposed on 16 people during the investigation.

The Foundation noted that its lawyers could not meet with the relevant people due to the 24-hour confidentiality order given regarding the detentions that started three days ago, and that no verifiable information about the process could be obtained from the police officials. According to the foundation, during the Nallıhan nature trip of the Ankara Provincial Representation and its volunteers on June 3, 2026, an action that was unrelated to the foundation was observed at the rest stop. Except for two people who got off for necessity, no one got off the bus and the team left without waiting.

It was later understood that the gendarmerie's three ID checks on the road were within the scope of an investigation. The foundation argued that its employees and volunteers "had no involvement" in the planning, organization or execution of the action in question. "Bu nedenle haklarında tutuklama kararı verilmiş olması Vakfımız açısından son derece şaşırtıcı, üzücü ve endişe vericidir" ifadeleri kullanıldı.

Cumhurbaşkanlığı ofisine bağlı Dezenformasyonla Mücadele Merkezi, 25 Haziran'da yaptığı açıklamada "NATO Zirvesi öncesi Ankara'da gözaltına alınan TEMA gönüllülerine yönelik işlem yapıldığı" iddialarını yalanladı. Söz konusu operasyonun, herhangi bir sivil toplum kuruluşu üyeliği veya gönüllülük faaliyeti nedeniyle değil; "güvenlik ve istihbarat birimlerince yürütülen çalışmalar kapsamında çeşitli terör örgütleriyle bağlantılı faaliyetlerde bulunduğu değerlendirilen şahıslara yönelik" gerçekleştirildiği belirtildi. 233 people were detained in operations carried out in Ankara and Istanbul on June 23. The chief prosecutor's office in Ankara had said that among those detained were suspects from organizations such as ISIS, TKP/ML, MLKP, DHKP/C. It was reported that DHKP-C members were detained in a second operation carried out in eight provinces centered in Istanbul. It was announced that M.K., who was stated to be a member of ISIS, died during the conflict with the police during the operation carried out in Ankara on June 24. In the statement published on the party's X account, it was stated that those detained should be released.
