Meir Has Shared a Timelapse From Her Recent Spacewalk With Fellow Astronaut Anil Menon, Offering a Rare Glimpse of the International Space

Perspective is everything. Looking at Earth from above offers an incredibly profound perspective, as does looking toward the International Space Station through a window of the Russian segment, Meir wrote on X, where she posted the video. Meir described the experience of working outside the station, saying that even in their bulky spacesuits, she and her crewmates looked like "tiny worker bees around their hive" given the station's enormous size.

The spacewalk took place on August 6, with Meir and Menon venturing outside the station. The images were captured by their crewmate Anna Kikina, who remained inside and filmed the pair from the window.
