Hilmi Tuna Kuriş and Erhan Yılmaz Were Captured in an Operation in the Bozburun Area of Marmaris, a District in Muğla Province in Türkiye

Two fugitives wanted in connection with the Alihan Kuriş criminal organization investigation were arrested in Marmaris, Muğla, Turkey, as they prepared to flee the country. Hilmi Tuna Kuriş and Erhan Yılmaz were captured in an operation in the Bozburun area of Marmaris, a district in Muğla province. The suspects were being sought as "fugitives" in an investigation led by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department tracked down the whereabouts of Hilmi Tuna Kuriş and Erhan Yılmaz, determining that they were hiding in the Bozburun region of Marmaris and planning to escape abroad by sea. Acting on intelligence from the Istanbul Police Department, teams from the Muğla Police Department raided the identified address in Marmaris Bozburun. During the raid, Hilmi Tuna Kuriş and Erhan Yılmaz, wanted on charges of membership in a criminal organization, were apprehended and taken into custody. The detained suspects are expected to be transferred to Ankara, where the investigation is being conducted, after the completion of police procedures.
