Docking With the Space Station Is Planned for Saturday, 14 February at 20:15 GMT (21:15 CET).

ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot is set to launch to the International Space Station on 13 February 2026 for her first mission, named εpsilon. The mission name reflects the idea of small yet impactful contributions, drawing on the mathematical symbol ε, which denotes a small quantity, and its astronomical meaning as the fifth-brightest star in a constellation. Adenot will fly with her Crew-12 crewmates aboard a SpaceX Dragon launching from Florida, USA.

The four-person crew includes NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev. The launch is scheduled for Friday, 13 February 2026 at 10:15 GMT (11:15 CET, 05:15 ET) from Florida. Docking with the space station is planned for Saturday, 14 February at 20:15 GMT (21:15 CET).

The mission includes experiments led by the French space agency CNES. ESA has also released an interactive guide to the εpsilon mission and highlighted the symbolism behind the mission patch.
