At the Heart of the Collection Are Custom Animations, Visual Effects, and Sound Designs That Merge Card Artistry With Traditional Sorcery

Riot Games has unveiled the Celestial Collection, a new skin set coming to VALORANT as part of Season 2026 // Act 05, blending anime-inspired modern magical fantasy with shape-shifting melee weapons, enchanted card animations, and a Riftbound surprise. The collection transforms players into a new generation of spellcasters who unleash their powers through magical cards, combining timeless fantasy elements with a modern aesthetic. It includes skins for the Vandal, Bandit, Guardian, and Marshal, along with the Celestial Sigil melee weapon.

At the heart of the collection are custom animations, visual effects, and sound designs that merge card artistry with traditional sorcery. The Celestial Sigil changes form with each attack, shifting from a dagger on the first basic attack to a sword on the second and third, and a greatsword on the fourth, with each strike followed by a unique magical card animation. The alternative attack wields the greatsword with special effects, while the equip animation shows spinning cards that transform into a dagger, and the inspect animation has magical cards floating around the weapon before merging with it.

All weapons in the collection feature custom reload, equip, and inspect animations tied to the magical card mastery theme. The inspect animation holds the weapon horizontally as energy waves pass through the cards, accompanied by celestial ambient sounds. The collection's finisher animation shows magical cards swirling around a defeated enemy, crashing into the target, darkening the environment, and triggering a large explosion with an energy column rising skyward to celestial music.

The set also includes a custom death banner and death banner sound that support style colors. The Riftbound surprise remains part of the collection's reveal.
