🇫🇷 FranceDion Is Intensively Preparing for Her Upcoming Stage Comeback After a Six-year Break, Revealing That She Does Pilates Three Times a Week

It's been so long, I want to offer them something, to show them how much I've missed them, Dion told the magazine about her fans and the upcoming shows. She said she is proud to achieve something her body was not made for. In 2022, the 58-year-old Canadian publicly disclosed that she suffers from Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disease.
The condition can cause muscle spasms anywhere in the body, causing her hands or feet to freeze, she said. She did not perform for over two years before interrupting her break in 2024 for a song: at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, she sang Édith Piaf's "L'hymne à l'amour" from the balcony of the Eiffel Tower. In a documentary, Dion spoke in detail about her illness for the first time in 2024. In March, she announced her comeback.
She plans to give concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena between September 12 and October 17. A further ten performances are scheduled between May 8 and 29 next year. The rare Stiff-Person Syndrome had kept the Canadian singer away from show business for a long time. In autumn, she dares a return.
