🇹🇷 TürkiyeTurkey Unveils Guide for Judicial Efficiency Offices Under Reform Strategy in Türkiye

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced the publication of a new guide for the Efficiency Offices of Judicial Services, established under Turkey's 4th Judicial Reform Strategy. The guide aims to ensure uniformity in the duties and operations of these offices, which were set up by the Board of Judges and Prosecutors. Gürlek said the offices will identify the causes of prolonged lawsuits and investigations at an early stage, closely monitor target-duration practices, and track delays in judicial processes.
The initiative seeks to resolve administrative and organizational problems on-site and strengthen coordination between institutions. The offices will also effectively evaluate applications from citizens received through the Alo Adalet 135 hotline. Gürlek stressed that the work will be carried out in line with the independence of courts, the security of tenure for judges, and the principle of non-interference in judicial processes.
"By making use of the opportunities offered by technology, we will strengthen the bond between our citizens and judicial units and further advance our understanding of justice that is prompt, effective, and accessible, Gürlek said. "I wish the guide to be beneficial to our judicial organization and our citizens.
