Two Ambulance Paramedics Were Also Found Dead at the Scene

Israel's military has announced it will open an investigation into the killing of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl whose story became a symbol of the war's civilian toll in the Gaza Strip. She was killed in 2024. Hind's story drew global attention after she called the Palestinian Red Crescent emergency hotline, saying she was hiding in a car in Gaza City among her lifeless family members. She was later found dead in the vehicle. Two ambulance paramedics were also found dead at the scene.
