The Adana Police Department's Anti-terrorism Branch Launched the Dawn Raid Targeting the Foundation in Türkiye

Turkish police detained the founder of the Furkan Foundation, Alparslan Kuytul, along with his wife Semra Kuytul and numerous foundation members during an operation in Adana, Turkey, on Tuesday. The Adana Police Department's anti-terrorism branch launched the dawn raid targeting the foundation. Police units were dispatched to Kuytul's home, where a search was conducted before he and his wife were taken into custody.

Several other foundation members were also detained in the same operation. Kuytul and the other detainees were brought to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for health checks under tight security measures. After the medical examinations, the detained individuals were transferred to police headquarters. The operation comes amid an ongoing crackdown on the foundation, though authorities have not yet released an official statement detailing the reasons for the arrests.
