The quake occurred at 8:18 p.m. local time at a depth of 7.1 kilometers (4.4 miles). The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) reported the tremor on its website, with its epicenter located in Halkapınar. No immediate damage or casualties have been reported.
Halkapınar District Governor Mehmet Şirin Altay issued a statement on social media, saying, "I extend my best wishes to all our fellow citizens due to the 3.4 magnitude earthquake in our district. Our teams have conducted the necessary field scans throughout the district, and no negative situation has been detected so far. May God protect our district and our country from all disasters.

A resident of the Osmanköseli neighborhood, Bülent Fakı Şengün (50), described the experience: "We were startled by a sound similar to an explosion; we couldn't understand what was happening. We shook for 7-8 seconds with decreasing intensity. Thank God, none of us or our neighborhood have any problems.
