Dev Adam, Has Departed for Germany to Compete in the Turkish Airlines DBB Super Cup Ahead of Their FIBA 2027 World Cup Qualifying

The team left from Istanbul Airport on a Turkish Airlines flight to Hamburg, Germany, following a training session in Istanbul. According to a statement from the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF), the national team, under head coach Ergin Ataman, held a two-hour training session at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center. After the session, the team traveled to Hamburg to participate in the Turkish Airlines DBB Super Cup tournament.

The team will return to Istanbul after the tournament to continue preparations for their upcoming matches against Lithuania and Iceland in Group J of the second round of the FIBA 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The tournament schedule includes a third-place or final match on Saturday, August 22. In their first qualifying match, Turkey will face Lithuania on Friday, August 28, at 21:00 local time at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center. The team will then play Iceland on Monday, August 31, at 22:30 Turkish time at Laugardalshöll Arena in Reykjavik, Iceland. The national team will continue its preparation for these crucial qualifiers after the Super Cup concludes.
