🇹🇷 TürkiyeAK Party to Host Humanitarian Aid Program in Ankara on Aug 19 in Türkiye

Turkey's ruling AK Party will host a program titled "Humanitarian Aid and the Turkey Model" in Ankara on August 19 to mark World Humanitarian Day, bringing together key figures in humanitarian diplomacy.
The event, to be held at the AK Party Headquarters Fuaye Hall, will be chaired by Hasan Basri Yalçın, AK Party Deputy Chairman and head of the party's Human Rights Department. Participants will include AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority) President Ali Hamza Pehlivan, TİKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) President Abdullah Eren, YTB (Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities) President Abdulhadi Turus, and Turkish Red Crescent President Fatma Meriç Yılmaz. The program will highlight Turkey's institutional approach to humanitarian aid developed in recent years, emphasizing that the country's model is not limited to responding to urgent needs but integrates relief efforts with development, local capacity building, and long-term sustainability goals.
