Erdogan Signs Appointment, Dismissal Decisions for Senior Posts in Türkiye

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has signed a series of appointment and dismissal decisions published in Turkey's Official Gazette, covering senior posts across ministries, public institutions, and universities. Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy was appointed as the head of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (OSYM), while Engin Akyol, the General Manager of Information Technologies, was named as the deputy head of the Social Security Institution (SGK). At the Housing Development Administration (TOKI), Deputy Head Dursun Basturk was removed from his post, with Ahmet Kutlug Gayretli and Abdulvahap Afsin appointed as new deputy heads.

At the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Deputy General Manager for Disabled and Elderly Services Muhammed Gulyurt was dismissed and replaced by Fatma Yigiter Kara. The ministry's Rize provincial director, Huseyin Guclu, was also removed from his position. In the academic sector, new rectors were appointed to several universities: Prof. Dr. Nedim Sozbir at Duzce University, Prof. Dr. Ufuk Kuyrukluyildiz at Erzincan Binali Yildirim University, Prof. Dr. Emine Gumussoy at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, and Prof. Dr. Haci Ali Mantar at Gebze Technical University. Prof. Dr. Huseyin Karaman was appointed as the chairman of the board of trustees at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Turkish-Kazakh University.
