Only Preferences Made Individually Through Electronic Means Will Be Processed in Türkiye

Applications have opened for the placement of national athletes into higher education programs under the 2026 university entrance exam, Turkey's Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced. According to Article 7.5 of the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (2026-YKS) guide, the application process for placing talented and highly successful candidates in sports into higher education programs in sports fields began today and will continue until 23:59 on August 24. Preference lists sent to ÖSYM by mail or submitted in person will not be valid. Only preferences made individually through electronic means will be processed.

Candidates whose applications are accepted will make their preferences individually at using their Turkish ID number and candidate password. Candidates can make up to 8 preferences, and those wishing to make changes can do so within the specified dates.
