🇹🇷 TürkiyeWebtekno Asked Its Followers Which Smartphone Brand They Would Choose If Buying a New Phone, Revealing Apple As the Overwhelming Favorite

The poll, part of the site's "Tek Soruluk Dev Anket" (One-Question Big Survey) series, drew hundreds of comments alongside the votes. Apple took first place on every platform surveyed, winning 55% of votes on X, 54% on LinkedIn, and 47% on Instagram. Users cited the comfort of its ecosystem — including devices like the Watch, Mac, and AirPods — and the perception that iPhones do not lose performance over the years as key reasons for their preference.
Although services such as Apple Pay and Apple Intelligence are not active in Turkey and prices are high, respondents said the strong resale value of Apple devices is a major advantage. Samsung came in second across all platforms, with votes ranging between 29% and 34%, making it the leader on the Android side. Its flexibility in work processes and specific hardware advantages such as the S Pen in the Galaxy Note/Ultra series were highlighted as reasons for its loyal following.
Users seeking a balance between price and performance leaned toward Xiaomi (9%-13%) and rising brand HONOR (4%-6%). Comments also noted that limited budgets pushed some toward budget-friendly models or alternative brands. Other names mentioned outside the options included Nothing Phone, Oppo, and expectations for locally produced devices.
The survey results contrast with global market share data, where Samsung and Apple nearly tie for leadership at around 18%-20% of sales, with Xiaomi third at 13%-14%. The findings suggest that in Turkey, Apple represents what consumers desire rather than what they can actually afford. Despite high taxes and currency fluctuations, Apple's brand perception and loyalty appear unmatched in the country.
In summary, Apple is the undisputed first choice for Turkish users thanks to its ecosystem strength, smooth software, and prestige. Samsung holds second place with Android flexibility and strong flagship models, while Xiaomi and HONOR remain the first stop for those seeking value in a market dominated by high prices.
