🇹🇷 TürkiyeŞebap Pigeons, Brought From Across Turkey and Priced Between 100,000 and 5 Million Lira, Were Showcased in Erzurum in Türkiye

The birds, displayed on a red-carpeted podium, drew keen interest from attendees. The exhibition was organized by the Erzurum Şebap Pigeon Breeders Association, part of the Şebap Pigeon Federation. Held under the slogan 'Turkey meets in Erzurum, the event attracted breeders from nearly 40 provinces.
The show took place at the Hizmetiçi Eğitim Enstitüsü hall in Erzurum's Aziziye district. Before the exhibition, a red-carpeted podium was set up for the birds. Nearly 200 şebap pigeons of various breeds—including miski, abalı, abalı miski, kürenk, çakmaklı, gök, and Arap—were presented on the podium.
Attendees examined the birds' head color, foot structure, scales, chest color, tail, and physical posture. The display continued throughout the day as the pigeons were brought out from special cages onto the podium. İsa Kaya, who attended from Germany, said he has been interested in this bird species for about 25 years.
Kaya noted that he attends events held in various cities and also keeps birds himself. Necmettin Budak, president of the Şebap Pigeon Federation, said this bird species is widespread not only in Turkey but also worldwide. Budak emphasized that şebap pigeons are highly valuable and require special care, noting that the birds exhibited in Erzurum are priced between 100,000 and 5 million lira.
