Oslo's Majorstuen T-bane Reopens After 11-Month Upgrade; Operator Urges New Habits

Oslo's Majorstuen T-bane station has reopened after an 11-month upgrade, and transit operator Sporveien is now asking passengers to change their habits and use the new station correctly. The platforms have been widened and straightened, and the station has gained several new entrances as part of one of the largest subway upgrades in the Norwegian capital. So far, 900 million kroner (about $85 million) has been spent on the project. The platforms, which previously curved, have been straightened to provide much better space on both sides.
