Woman Sits on Hood of Moving Car on D300 Highway; Two Detained After Investigation in Türkiye

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 8, on the D300 highway in Manisa. According to the claim, a female passenger, identified only as K., was in a car with license plate 64 EU 340, driven by M.E.C. (20), when she climbed onto the open sunroof and sat on the hood while the vehicle was in motion. After videos of the incident were shared on social media, the Salihli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation.

As part of the investigation, traffic police examined the footage and detained both M.E.C. and K. on charges of indecent acts. The driver also faced legal proceedings for endangering traffic safety and was fined 4,500 Turkish lira for violating traffic rules. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
