A teenage daughter was arrested by police for allegedly pouring boiling water on her mother during an argument over the girl's runaway plans. Officers from the Namyangju Nambu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province took the teen into custody on suspicion of special injury to a direct relative. The suspect, identified only as A, is accused of pouring water boiled in an electric kettle onto her 52-year-old mother's head and legs at their home in Hwado-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 12:50 a.m. on the 15th.
