Pakistan's Top Court Chief: Constitution Must Remain Supreme

Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan said on Tuesday that the Constitution must remain supreme and every exercise of power must be in accordance with its provisions. He made the remarks while addressing a ceremony at the court, emphasizing that no institution is above the Constitution and that all state organs are bound by its framework. Khan also stressed the importance of judicial independence and the rule of law in upholding democratic values.
