Ddrop Attack Breaks Intel TDX and AMD Sev-snp Memory Protection

Researchers have disclosed a new hardware attack, named DDRop, that breaks memory protection in Intel TDX and AMD SEV-SNP confidential computing environments. The attack exploits a vulnerability in the memory controller to bypass the isolation guarantees he researchers demonstrated the attack on real hardware and have provided details to the affected vendors.
