AAC Oyo Petitions EFCC to Monitor Election Spending

The African Action Congress (AAC), Oyo State chapter, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to monitor election campaign spending.

The party submitted the petition on Tuesday at the EFCC zonal office in Ibadan. The AAC urged the anti-graft agency to scrutinize the financial activities of political parties and candidates ahead of the upcoming elections. The party also called for the prosecution of any individual or group found to have violated campaign finance laws.
