🇮🇱 IsraelUnited Nations Reported That Nearly 290 Households in Gaza Were Affected by Israeli Strikes Last Week, Displacing Residents and Causing Them

Daniela Gross De Almeida, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, shared the update during a daily press briefing at UN Headquarters in New York, providing details on the latest developments in the Middle East. "In more than a dozen reported incidents, people were displaced and lost their belongings due to attacks affecting approximately 290 households in Gaza, Almeida said. She noted that the UN and its humanitarian partners are working to support people who lost shelters or were displaced again "due to attacks, house fires, and other incidents.
Almeida explained that fires in two households resulted from a lack of proper energy sources due to Israeli restrictions and the use of primitive household appliances. She also said five displaced Palestinian families lost their homes because of "new yellow cement blocks" placed by Israel in Gaza.
