Ghayas Zahid Returns to Vålerenga on a Contract Through 2027

Ghayas Zahid (31) is making a comeback at Vålerenga after training with the club for several weeks. The club has confirmed he has signed a contract running through 2027. It feels good to be home again! I've been here for a little while now, but getting things finalized is great.

It's been a very nice feeling being here. It has been tempting, and I've been itching to get involved and contribute. I'm really looking forward to it, Zahid said.

Zahid joins on a free transfer after his stint at Serbian club Partizan ended earlier this year. The midfielder became a fan favorite during his previous spell at Vålerenga from 2012 to 2017. Since then, he has played football in Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, and Serbia. Zahid has two senior caps for Norway.
