Hungary Is Set to Experience a Scorching Weekend, With Temperatures Climbing As High As 37°C on Sunday, According to the Kiderül.hu Weather

The heat wave will peak before a welcome cool-down arrives midweek. Friday will bring mostly clear, sunny skies across the country. While a few cumulus clouds may form in the east, there is no chance of precipitation.

Easterly winds will remain weak to moderate over most of Hungary, though they may pick up in the Northern Great Plain region. Daytime highs are expected to range between 29°C and 32°C (84.2°F and 89.6°F). Saturday continues the largely cloudless, dry spell, with southerly winds occasionally strengthening.

Overnight lows will fall between 7°C and 20°C (44.6°F and 68°F), while afternoon highs reach 30°C to 35°C (86°F and 95°F). Sunday will be even hotter, with air temperatures warming to between 33°C and 37°C (91.4°F and 98.6°F) by the afternoon, despite some cloud cover expected. Monday sees cloud cover gradually increasing from the northwest, though much of the country will still enjoy plenty of sunshine.

In the second half of the day, the chance of showers and thunderstorms rises from the northwest, accompanied by lively, temporarily strong gusts as winds shift to that direction. Morning lows range from 11°C to 22°C (51.8°F to 71.6°F), with afternoon highs between 30°C and 38°C (86°F and 100.4°F).
