🇪🇸 SpainJaël Bestué's Bend Is a Symphony

Strength, speed and technique woven into the legs of a 25-year-old, 1.60m tall, who step by step has positioned herself among the world's best 200m specialists. Last year, on the green track of Vallehermoso, she achieved a notable mark (22.19s) that allowed her to rub shoulders with the sprint stars. This year, stronger and more explosive after a winter dedicated to the 60m, she wanted to be around the medals.
She had never run so fast, but she had faith. The BBC placed her among the favourites, alongside Britons Amy Hunt, who had just won the 100m, and Dina Asher-Smith, the great sprint legend in the islands. The Catalan from Sant Cugat had suffered this year in the final metres after a spectacular bend. That was her challenge.
