🇹🇷 TürkiyeApple Has Not Scrapped Its Glass-designed Iphone 20 Plans, According to 'S Mark Gurman, Who Denied a Report That Claimed the Company'

The denial comes a day after Jefferies analyst Edison Lee reported that the iPhone 20, which was expected to feature a glass design, had been canceled. Gurman, known for his close ties to Apple, said there are no issues with the company's iPhone 20 plans. However, the glass design will reportedly apply not to the standard iPhone 20 but to the iPhone 20 Pro and Pro Max models.
Apple has historically introduced innovations first in its premium phones before bringing them to standard models, making this approach unsurprising. Design details have emerged: the front and back glass surfaces of the devices will curve around the edges, with a thin metal frame at the sides where the glass meets. According to rumors, the thin frame will appear as a natural part of the glass, maintaining design integrity.
Gurman's statement indicates that the glass-designed Pro and Pro Max models will launch in 2027, marking the iPhone's 20th anniversary. The iPhone 20 Pro and Pro Max are internally referred to by codenames V73 and V74. Additionally, Gurman mentioned another ambitious model featuring more glass in its design, but this model was shelved early in its development phase. The canceled iPhone mentioned in Edison Lee's report could potentially be this mysterious model with more glass material.
