Karlsen Said All Three Are Expected to Be Discharged Shortly in Norway

Three of six children hospitalized after a gas leak at a swimming facility in Steinkjer, Norway, have been discharged, while the remaining three are still under observation. The children were admitted Wednesday evening following the gas release at Dampsaga Bad in Steinkjer, Trøndelag county. Three remain hospitalized Thursday at the hospital in Levanger, according to NRK.

Three children have been admitted overnight for observation and follow-up, Svein Håvard Karlsen, communications director at Helse Nord-Trøndelag, told NRK. Karlsen said all three are expected to be discharged shortly. A total of 68 people were evacuated after the gas leak.
