Turkey's DEVA Leader: Inflation to Ease Only After Businesses See Relief

Ali Babacan, leader of Turkey's DEVA Party, said inflation will only fall after farmers, shopkeepers, SMEs, and industrialists see their financial burdens ease. He argued that the central bank's tight monetary policy alone cannot curb price growth unless the real economy experiences tangible relief. Babacan stressed that sustainable disinflation requires restoring confidence among producers and small businesses, which are currently squeezed by high input costs and weak demand.
