Sony's Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition Will Launch for PS5 on October 1, Nearly a Year After the Base Game's Release

The upgraded version includes a new narrative expansion, a roguelike-inspired single-player mode, and all previously released content. The Complete Edition features Echoes of Sekigahara, a story expansion set across two time periods that explores protagonist Atsu's past. It adds a new area to explore, along with updated weapons, enemies, armor sets, dyes, and more.

A new single-player combat survival mode called Most Wanted is also included. Described by developer Sucker Punch as our spin on a roguelike, the mode involves accepting bounties, taking down enemies, and earning combat perks. The Complete Edition bundles the main game and Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the online co-op experience.

It costs $70, matching the base game's launch price last year. Existing owners can upgrade for $15. Players who own the original game but skip the upgrade will still receive minor perks. All editions get a new photo mode with an accompanying screensaver feature, plus quality-of-life improvements like a high contrast accessibility option.
