Anderson Talisca has become the foreign player with the most goals for Turkish clubs in European competition history, breaking a record previously held by Fenerbahçe legend Alex de Souza. The 32-year-old scored his fourth goal in four Champions League qualifying matches, helping Fenerbahçe reach the playoff round. Talisca reached his 16th goal in European competitions by finding the net against Graz, surpassing Alex's previous record of 15 goals.

The Brazilian forward has now scored 9 goals for Fenerbahçe in Europe, while he netted 7 during his time at Beşiktaş. Fenerbahçe advanced to the Champions League playoff round thanks to Talisca's contributions in the qualifying stage.
