🇳🇴 NorwayPolice Believe the Motorcyclist Was Hit From Behind and Pushed Into a Car That Was Stopped Ahead in Norway
A man in his 80s has been charged with negligent homicide after a man in his 40s died in a traffic accident in Moss, Norway, on Tuesday. The charge was confirmed by Monica Lillebakken, head of criminal investigations at Moss police station, to Moss Avis on Wednesday morning. The driver of the car was questioned at the scene on Tuesday, as were a couple of witnesses, Lillebakken told the newspaper.
It is unknown how the suspect responds to the charge. The accident occurred in the middle of a tunnel, and police reported extensive material damage. The tunnel was closed as a result of the crash.
Police believe the motorcyclist was hit from behind and pushed into a car that was stopped ahead. Life-saving first aid was administered at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead.
