Russian Drone Strike Injures 53-Year-old Man in Zaporizhzhia Region

Russian forces attacked a company bus in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region on Wednesday, August 12, injuring a 53-year-old man, according to regional officials. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported on Telegram that an enemy drone struck the bus on a highway near the village of Ukrainka. A 53-year-old man was injured, Fedorov said, adding that the victim is receiving medical care. The attack comes a day after the Russian army carried out 1,011 strikes on 57 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region on August 11, killing one person and injuring nine others.
