Damage Was Reported to 21 Residential Buildings and Four Industrial Facilities in Novorossiysk

Russian authorities reported a massive Ukrainian drone attack on the Black Sea coast overnight, with the port city of Novorossiysk as the main target, according to regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev. The attack killed an eight-year-old child and injured eight other people in Novorossiysk, while a man was also killed in the coastal town of Temryuk. Damage was reported to 21 residential buildings and four industrial facilities in Novorossiysk.

Kondratyev, governor of the Krasnodar region, said on Telegram that the strikes caused significant damage. Fire detection systems from NASA's FIRMS program showed blazes at these locations. The attack comes as Russia's war against Ukraine continues into its fourth year.
