Vestas More Than Doubled Its Operating Profit Before Special Items in the Second Quarter, According to Its Half-year Report Released Today

In the months of April, May and June, Vestas posted an operating profit of €446 million (approximately DKK 3.3 billion), up from €206 million (around DKK 1.5 billion) in the same period last year. The company continues to expect full-year revenue to land between €20 billion and €22 billion. The news was well received on the stock market, with Vestas shares rising 14% in morning trading.
