Shareit App Shuts Down Aug 15; Users Must Clear Balances by Saturday in Denmark

Users of the expense-sharing app ShareIt have until Saturday, August 15, to settle outstanding balances, as the service is shutting down. The app, which allows users to split and settle expenses with each other, is operated by the digital bank Lunar. Lunar announced the closure in an email to its customers in June, according to Ritzau.
