🇹🇷 TürkiyeKaraman, Turkey, Killing the Rider and Seriously Injuring a Teenage Girl Riding Behind Him in Türkiye

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Prof. Dr. Ahmet Zeki Velidi Togan Boulevard in the İbrahim Hakkı Konyalı neighborhood. According to initial reports, the motorcycle, driven by 18-year-old Kemal Talha Bozkurt and bearing license plate 70 ACK 152, collided with the side of a car driven by S.A. (plate 26 AKP 580) as the car was making a turn at the junction. The impact drove the motorcycle into the car like an arrow.
Both Bozkurt and his passenger, 16-year-old Z.E.K., were thrown from the bike and seriously injured. Bystanders alerted authorities, and police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After receiving first aid at the site, both victims were taken by ambulance to Karaman Training and Research Hospital.
Despite doctors' efforts, Bozkurt could not be saved and died of his injuries. Z.E.K.'s condition was reported as critical as she continued treatment. Crime scene investigators examined the area, and an inquiry into the accident has been launched. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
