Sri Lankan Promoter Sues Ne-yo Over $284,000 Advance After Canceled Show
A Sri Lankan concert promoter has filed a lawsuit against Ne-Yo, alleging the singer refused to return a $284,000 advance after canceling a scheduled performance.
The promoter, who had paid the advance for a planned concert, claims that Ne-Yo breached the agreement by canceling the event and failing to refund the money. The lawsuit seeks the return of the full advance plus damages. Ne-Yo has not yet publicly responded to the legal action.
