Navarro Blasts Pirro for Not Firing Prosecutors Who Held Him in Contempt

Peter Navarro, a trade adviser to Donald Trump, criticized U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro on Monday for failing to fire career prosecutors who held him in contempt of Congress. Speaking on Steve Bannon's War Room podcast, Navarro expressed anger at Pirro, who is facing threats to her job after she dropped the prosecution of an Olympian accused of damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Navarro said the Justice Department and the Interior Department have not provided evidence to support the charges.

Bannon, who chuckled throughout the exchange, tried to calm Navarro by insisting, "We love Jeanine! Navarro responded, "Do me a favor, Steve, before continuing his criticism.
