The Nuclear Safety and Security Commission (NSSC) Announced It Will Conduct a Detailed Inspection of the Unit in South Korea

The reactor at the Saeul Unit 3 nuclear power plant (formerly Shin-Kori Unit 5) in Ulju County, Ulsan, South Korea, automatically shut down on the 11th during test operations. The Nuclear Safety and Security Commission (NSSC) announced it will conduct a detailed inspection of the unit. The NSSC said it received a report of the reactor shutdown from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) at approximately 8:56 p.m. that evening.
