Turkey, Narrowly Avoided a Head-on Collision With a Dump Truck That Illegally Overtook Another Vehicle and Veered Into His Lane

The incident occurred on the Artvin-Ardahan highway near the Armutlu neighborhood of Şavşat district. Fırat Küpçü, the taxi driver, spotted the truck loaded with stones coming toward him in a no-passing zone. The truck had just overtaken a tractor and was speeding directly at the taxi.

Küpçü quickly slowed his vehicle, preventing what could have been a serious accident. The truck driver continued without reducing speed and drove through a puddle of water on the road. The muddy water splashed through the taxi's open window, hitting Küpçü in the face.

The entire sequence was captured by the taxi's dashboard camera. The footage shows the moment the muddy water splashed into the vehicle. No injuries or damage were reported in the incident, which was attributed to the taxi driver's quick reaction.
