Ella Thornburn, an English Literature student at Queens' College, Cambridge, has won the 2026 Fringe Young Writers Award.
The award was announced by the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. Thornburn's winning work was selected from a shortlist of emerging writers. The prize includes a commission to develop a new piece for the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
