Turkey's Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı announced the launch of a modern soilless farming era at the Adana Karataş Greenhouse Organized Agriculture Zone, which aims to provide employment for 5,000 people at full capacity. In a post on his social media account, Yumaklı said they transformed unsuitable agricultural lands into productive centers with high technology. "We started the modern soilless farming era with an investment of 1.2 billion liras in our Adana Karataş Greenhouse Organized Agriculture Zone, he said.
"With an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons, employment for 5,000 citizens and a production target of 650 decares by year-end, we are adding strength to our country's power. The zone targets production across 650 decares by the end of the year.
