An Amber Alert has been issued in Missouri for one-year-old Emiliona Gonzalez after authorities said a suspect stole a vehicle in St. Louis with the baby inside. The theft occurred in the 800 block of S. Broadway at around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Walnut Street from Memorial Drive.

Authorities are searching for Joseph Nickell, 43, who was last seen with Gonzalez. Nickell is described as a Black man, 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a light mustache, and was armed with a handgun. Gonzalez was wearing a gray onesie with black shorts.

The stolen vehicle is a blue 2015-2023 Dodge Charger with two white stripes over the hood, bearing an Illinois temporary registration tag and license plate. This is a developing story.
