🇺🇦 UkrainePeru Says 11 Citizens Killed in Russia-ukraine War

Peru's Foreign Ministry said 31 citizens had been evacuated from Russia, adding that according to official data, 459 Peruvian citizens took part in the war; unfortunately, 11 of them lost their lives, 114 are missing, and three were taken prisoner by the Ukrainian army.
According to national media reports, families of Peruvians who joined the Russian army gathered outside the Russian Embassy in Lima, demanding the return of their relatives—especially the wounded—and information about their fate. A family spokesperson said they had received information that at least 150 Peruvians had died, though this figure has not yet been officially confirmed. The Peruvian government has asked the International Committee of the Red Cross for help in locating missing citizens.
