Imperial Tobacco Hikes Cigarette Prices in Turkey After Inflation Data

Imperial Tobacco has raised cigarette prices in Turkey, according to an announcement by Erol Dündar, head of the Tekel Bayileri Dayanışma Derneği (Tobacco Dealers Solidarity Association), posted on X. The price hike was announced on August 10, 2026. This comes after the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) calculated monthly inflation at 1.78 percent and annual inflation at 31.75 percen.
