Caitlin Clark Is Making History Once Again

Saturday was quite an eventful day for Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark. She got her eighth technical foul of the season, which usually would mean, according to the WNBA's rules, that she would have to miss one game and get hit with a suspension. But the WNBA quickly decided to rescind that foul, so Clark is good to go for the Fever's next game.

It's exactly what Clark told media after the game she was hoping would happen, since it wasn't intentional. The incident happened during the Fever's game against the Chicago Sky. Clark bumped into a referee and was hit with a technical foul during the third quarter of the game.

What means more, of course, is that the Fever pulled off a victory on the road, 90-86, against the Sky. During the game, Clark closed the game with 26 points, four rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and one block.

Her teammate Kelsey Mitchell had 27 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. It marked the eighth time the duo scored at least 25 points in one game.
